Poetry Reading - A Handful of the Unnecessary - Τα Περιττά στη Χούφτα
I was deeply honoured to read the poetry of Greek poet and painter Pepi Kogia on February 25 at MatchPoint in Athens, Greece.
The gallery was filled with attentive guests and truly wonderful speakers.
Reading Pepi Kogia's poetry presented a beautiful challenge—her work is dense, specific, and at the same time multidimensional. The task was to remain neutral yet personal, but according to both the poet and the audience, the mission was accomplished successfully and was deeply moving.
I am absolutely overjoyed!
