Oskaras Koršunovas Masterclass - "Oedipus"
An exceptional Masterclass with Oskaras Koršunovas on Oedipus, presented by the wonderful Avantgarde!!!
We experienced the magical transition from the text and dramaturgy to the individual inspiration and collective generative improvisation—which gave breath, flesh, and blood to a personal connection with, and experience of, the story and the drama. It all began with the question "Who am I?" and evolved toward "How do I exist with others?"—both as a member of society and as part of the theatrical process.
How the journey of the One becomes a collective Fate and Responsibility—or, in other words, our destiny.
Oskaras Koršunovas, a master of balancing logic and instinct, gave us the space and freedom to boldly experiment and test our limits and creativity. We moved back and forth between being members of a compact chorus and stepping forward as the main characters of the drama, only to return once more to the chorus.
It was a truly amazing experience that led to a mini-presentation at the end of the Masterclass, and it will remain unforgettable for us!!!
